How to prepare for a consultation

A consultation is free and allows us to determine if your case is one that we are qualified to handle at Berry & Munn. Here are a few tips to help you prepare for our first consultation.

Bring all documents

Make copies of all the documents you have collected regarding your case and prepare to leave them with us.

Make any notes

Write down important notes that outline your legal problem and any questions you may have. We are best able to help you when you are honest and provide full disclosure to the issue at hand.

Write down questions

Be prepared to ask several questions at your consultation. If you call your lawyer every time you have another question, there may be additional charges.

Be prepared to discuss fees

At our consultation, we will be prepared to discuss fees with you. This includes anything required for us to continue to work your case, as well as potential fees that may be required in the future.
